GENERAL AND DISCIPLINARY RULE

ALL STUDENTS MUST ABIDE BY THE COLLEGE RULES, REGULATIONS, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES AS MAY BE PROMULGATED BY THE COLLEGE ADMINISTRATION FROM TIME TO TIME.

BREACH OF THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES SHALL RENDER THEM LIABLE TO DISCIPLINARY, ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGAL ACTION INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPOSITION OF FINE, SUSPENSION OR EXPULSION (BOTH PROVISIONAL AND PERMANENT) FROM THE COLLEGE.

  • Students are required to attend all classes regularly and on time with not less than 80% attendance.
  • Students are required to do and submit their assignments on time to the concerned faculty.
  • Students are required to perform in class activity according to the rules and procedures set by the concerned faculty or the administration/management.
  • Students shall respect the property of the College/School and shall not get involved into any destruction of such property.  Anyone found causing disturbance, destruction, damaging, stealing any of the School/College property, shall be suspended and s/he will have to compensate those disturbances, destructions, damages and theft.
  • No student is allowed to paste, exhibit, prepare or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the College premises without prior permission from the Program Director/Principal.
  • Sexual harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited and is punishable under prevalent Law of Nepal.
  • Every student of the College is required to be punctual in the class.
  • No student is allowed to leave the class without the permission of his/her teacher or until the class is over.
  • Late-comers in the class may be marked absent.
  • Students should be respectful to all the faculty members, staff, seniors and fellow class mates.
  • Students should be respectful in the classroom, not interrupt or disturb the learning/teaching/moderating process of the class. If a student needs to object or ask questions during the lecture time, s/he shall raise hand first and request the faculty/lecturer/moderator for a question.
  • Any student misbehaving in the classroom/College shall at once be reported to the Principal by the teacher. The Principal will take such action as he may deem proper. The teacher can recommend a penalty as well.
  • If a student needs a leave for four or more consecutive days, permission from the academic director/principal is required.
  • Students (B.A.LL.B) are under compulsion to wear school/college uniform during academic calendar. Students are also required to wear school/college uniform at any function, program organized by the school/college itself or by third party(while representing School/College). Students are also required to wear school/college uniform as and when the School/College requests.
  • Student shall help to maintain the School/College area clean and healthy. Student shall not litter waste except in the waste basket/trash can.
  • The School/College area is smoking prohibited zone.
  • The School/College area is drug (besides drug prescribed by the medical practitioner) prohibited zone.
  • The School/College area is alcohol prohibited zone.
  • Students are not allowed to enter into School/College area if s/he is under influence of drugs, alcohol or any means prohibited for consumption by existing legal rules of Nepal.
  • Any student found smoking or getting involved into drugs (besides drugs prescribed by the medical practitioner) and alcohol inside School/College premises, shall be immediately suspended and may be expelled from the School/College. Such student shall be prosecuted according to the existing laws of Nepal.
  • All forms of gambling are strictly prohibited inside School/College area.
  • Students may not be allowed to enter into the premises of the School/College without School/College ID.
  • Students must keep the College Identity Card during their stay in the College premises and during College functions.
  • Students may not be allowed to enter into Library without School/College ID.
  • The College authorities reserve the right to revise any class schedule or to re-arrange the classes.
  • Student shall pay their tuition and examination dues and any other dues on time.
  • The School/College shall not tolerate any political activity within its premises and no student shall engage themselves or show off any political activity in the School/College areas.
  • Any complaint and/or misunderstanding from the student regarding administration, management, faculty, fellow class mates, seniors or anything related to School/College shall be first communicated to the concerned program director or person designated. Student shall not form any group and perform any protest or strike for such complaint. The student and the management shall solve any raised issue amicably.
  • Any student aggrieved by any happening in the College shall lodge a complaint with the Program Director/Principal and not with any outside authority unless the Program Director/Principal permits him/her to do so.
  • The College will not be responsible for loss of any mail/valuables sent to a student at the College address.
  • The College is not responsible for any loss/damage regarding the students' belongings.
  • Student shall park their vehicle in the parking area only. Students shall not park their vehicle haphazardly and causing disturbances for going and incoming vehicle in the parking area.
  • The College students, while parking their bikes/motor cars, are required to put proper lock on them. College administration shall not be responsible for any loss on this account, whatsoever.
  • If student need to do/perform any extra-curricular activities, shall be done only after the consent granted by the School/College management.
  • Any false information on the Application Form may render the student liable to expulsion from the College.
  • The Students alone are responsible for submission of their College dues/fee and observance of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines promulgated by the College from time to time. The College or its Administration shall not be liable for any loss accruing to the students due to any such failure or non-observance. As regards the financial liability of a Student, the Parent/Guardian of the Student, signing the College Admission Form of the Student in such capacity, shall act as the surety of the Student and shall be jointly and severally liable to discharge any financial liability of the Student accruing under the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines.
  • If the College Administration pays any amount to any Authority, Board, Government Department etc. on behalf of any Student(s), all such amounts shall remain recoverable from such Student(s) as outstanding College Dues.
  • This code of conduct shall apply as soon as person is registered as a student of the School/College. This code of conduct is subject to change and modification and shall be and student shall abide by such change and modification.
  • The provisions contained in the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines, including but not limited to the General & Disciplinary Rules and Admission Rules, and the Declaration of the Student in the College Admission Form shall collectively form a contract between the College Administration and the Student and shall remain binding till a Student is on Rolls of the College. The College Administration shall have the right to amend, repeal and replace all or any of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines. Such amended or replaced provisions shall also remain binding till the Student remains on the Rolls of the College. The College shall be entitled to initiate legal proceedings, in addition to other disciplinary or administrative actions, against a Student who fails to comply with these binding provisions.
  • When student is found in acts of misconduct, indiscipline, violation of this code of conduct, other School/College policies and any other such existing Nepalese policy related to the relationship of student and the School shall be  taken into action as mentioned below:
  1. Verbal Warning
  2. II.Written Warning informing parents
  3. III.Suspension from the class for one week maximum (could be more). However, can use School facilities such as library, computer lab, canteen etc. Here, parents are informed.
  4. IV.Denial from entering into the premises of the School. Parents are informed.
  5. V.Compensation/fine/damages. Parents are informed.
  6. VI.Refusal to sit in the internal exam.
  7. VII.Refusal to sit in the external exam.
  8. VIII.Refusal to admission in the next year/level.
  9. IX.Expulsion from the College for some period.
  10. X.Rustication.
