NaLC participated in the Mini Football Tournament organized at Nepal Law Campus on Feb 27 and 28, 2014 and March 1, 2014. Teams from National Law College and Nepal Law Campus had participated. NaLC Girl's team secured the first position while the NaLC boy's team secured the second position. The Girl's team got hold of the CUP and received cash prize and bagged medals whereas the boy's team received the cash prize and bagged medals.

Student's Bar Association of National Law College (NaLC) organized a blood donation program on March 2, 2014. Students from various law colleges and several other people in Kathmandu participated in this noble cause and made it a grand success.

ICRC-Nepal gifted National Law College several important and pertinent books related to International Humanitarian Law on March 4, 2014. NaLC team highly appreciates it and is very grateful towards ICRC.Hope this sort of co-operation and collaboration continues in the days to come.


National Law College Sponsored the Nepal National Rounds of the 2014 Jessup Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. The competition was organized by Law Student Society on Feb 22, 2014 at the premise of Nepal Bar Council, 2014.

 

This year's compromis  revolved around the issue of International Law with special focus on the Law of the Sea. The dispute of the case was between the Parties concerning the activities within the Malachi Gap.

 


 

Participation in the LSS and KSL paper and speech

 

Sujana Koirala, Second Year student at National Law College secured second position in the Seminar Paper Presentation competition organized by Law Student Society on Dec 8, 2013. The Seminar Paper Presentation was on the theme of Violence against Women, to mark the '16 days Campaign to Eliminate Violence against Women'. On behalf on National Law College, Sujana Koirala and Melish Baskota participated. Students from Nepal Law Campus, P.N Campus ( Pokhara), Kathmandu School of Law and Chakraburty Law College  were also the participants.

 

Likewise, Apurba K.C., second year student at National Law College secured second position in the Speech Competition jointly organized by Kathmandu School of Law and NeLSA on Dec 10, 2013. The competition was organized to mark the '16 days Campaign to Eliminate Violence against Women'. On behalf of National Law College, Apurba K.C, Kamala Lama and Prashant Shrestha participated. Students from Nepal Law Campus and Kathmandu School of Law also did participate. The topic for the speech competition was "Violence against Women and Potential Solutions in Eliminating Violence against Women".
