• Attend all classes regularly and on time with not less than 80% of attendance. With less than 80 % of attendance, I accept to be barred from sitting in the Pre-Board Examination and Board Examination.
  • To do and submit assignments on time to the concerned faculty.
  • Plagiarism of any kind is strictly prohibited in any of the assignments given by the concerned faculty and the College
  • Perform in class activity according to the rules and procedures set by the concerned faculty or the administration/management.
  • Respect the property of the College and not get involved into any destruction of such property. Agree to get suspended and compensate if found causing disturbance, destruction, damaging, stealing any of the College property.
  • Not to paste, exhibit, prepare or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the College premises without prior permission from the Principal/Program Director.
  • Prohibition of Sexual harassment of any kind or similar acts, which shall be punishable under prevalent Laws of Nepal.
  • Compulsorily be punctual in the class (Late-comers in the class may be marked absent).Accept the action by the College Authorities as per the necessity as a Late Comer.
  • Take the permission of his/her faculty or until the class is over to leave the class.
  • Be respectful to all the faculty members, staffs, seniors and fellow class mates.
  • Be respectful in the classroom, not interrupt or disturb the learning/teaching/moderating process of the class. Raise hand first and request the faculty/lecturer/moderator for a question, if need to object or ask questions during the lecture time.
  • Required to compulsorily appear in all the three Internal Examinations. In case of inability (in considerable situations), application should be given to the Program Director. Compulsorily assignments are given by the faculty to compensate examinations and that should be submitted within prescribed deadline. Required to gain 45 % of the Internal Marks to be eligible to sit for the Board Examination.
  • Once a decision is made as to the elective subjects offered by the College, such decision shall be final. College reserves the right to conduct elective subjects based on such decision. If a decision is to be changed, options are only available as to the elective subjects reserved by the college.
  • Not to use mobile phones and other electronic appliances including laptops while the class is running. Keep in silence the mobile phones while in the class. If found using such electronic appliances, the College/faculty may take appropriate actions.
  • Not to misbehave in the classroom/College. This shall be reported to the Principal by the faculty. The Principal will take such action as he may deem proper. The faculty can recommend a penalty as well.
  • Strictly prohibited to leave college premises. In case of emergency, get permission from the program director. In case of unavailability of the program director, get the permission from the administration.
  • Take compulsory permission from the academic director/principal if a leave is required for four or more consecutive days.
  • Compulsorily wear college uniform during academic calendar. Wear college uniform at any function, program organized by the college itself or by third party(while representing College). Wear college uniform compulsorily as and when the College requests.
  • Maintain the College area clean and healthy. Not to litter waste except in the waste basket/trash can.
  • The College area is smoking, drug (besides drug prescribed by the medical practitioner) and alcohol prohibited zone.
  • Forbidden to enter into College area under influence of drugs, alcohol or any means prohibited for consumption by existing legal rules of Nepal.
  • Expulsion from the College if found smoking or getting involved into drugs (besides drugs prescribed by the medical practitioner) and alcohol inside College premises and will be immediately suspended. Shall be prosecuted according to the existing laws of Nepal.
  • Strict prohibition of all forms of gambling including electronic gaming and social network sites inside College area.
  • Possession of College ID is a must to enter into the premises of College and during the College functions. College ID is a must to enter into Library.
  • The College authorities reserve the right to revise any class schedule or to re-arrange the classes, during the public holidays as well if required.
  • Not to get involved or participate and design or plan any political activity within College premises. Such kinds of activities are strictly prohibited. College administration has right to take any appropriate action if found to be involved in such activities.
  • Prohibition of forming any group and performing any protest or strike with regards to any complaint and/or misunderstanding regarding administration, management, faculty, fellow class mates, seniors or anything related to College. It shall be first communicated to the concerned program director or person designated. The student and the management shall solve any raised issue amicably.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Program Director/Principal and not with any outside authority if aggrieved by any happening in the College, unless the Program Director/Principal permits him/her to do so.
  • Be responsible as to own belongings. The College is not responsible for any loss/damage regarding the students’ belongings.
  • Park vehicle in the parking area only. Shall not park vehicle haphazardly causing disturbances for vehicular movement in the parking area. Put proper lock on the vehicles while parking bikes/ motor cars. College administration shall not be responsible for any loss on this account, whatsoever.
  • Perform any extra-curricular activities, only after grant of consent by the College management.
  • Liable to expulsion from the College if any false information on the Application Form is rendered.
  • Pay tuition and examination dues and any other dues on time. And pay the fines accordingly in case of failure to pay on time.
  • Responsible for submission of College dues/fee and observance of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines promulgated by the College from time to time. The College or its Administration shall not be liable for any loss accruing to the students due to any such failure or non-observance. As regards the financial liability, the Parent/Guardian, signing the College Admission Form of the Student in such capacity, shall act as the surety of the Student and shall be jointly and severally liable to discharge any financial liability under the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines.
  • To abide by all the rules and regulations of library.
  • To abide by all the rules and regulations of IT department.
  • Amounts shall remain recoverable, if the College Administration pays any amount to any Authority, Board, and Government Department etc. on behalf of any Student.
  • This code of conduct shall apply as soon as the admission procedure is completed and the code of conduct is duly signed. This code of conduct is subject to change and modification and shall be and student shall abide by such change and modification.

 

  • If found in acts of misconduct, indiscipline, violation of this code of conduct, other College policies and any other such existing Nepalese policy related to the relationship of student and the College, I readily accept the actions as mentioned below:
  • Verbal Warning
  • Written Warning informing parents
  • Suspension from the class for one week maximum (could be more). However, can use College facilities such as library, computer lab,  canteen etc. Here, parents are informed.
  • Denial from entering into the premises of the College. Parents are informed.
  • Compensation/fine/damages. Parents are informed.
  • Refusal to sit in the internal exam.
  • Refusal to sit in the external exam.
  • Refusal to admission in the next year/level.
  • Expulsion from the College for some period.
  • Rustication.

Other Notifications:

  1. In case of drop out from National Law College without completing the course, payments that have been made will not be refunded.

 

  • Library Deposit will only be refunded on the completion of whole 5 years course.

 

  1. Penalty will be levied on late payment of fees. (If fees is not received on or before due dates penalty will be charged as per college rules.)
  • The provisions contained in the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines, including but not limited to the General & Disciplinary Rules and Admission Rules, and the Declaration of the Student in the College Admission Form shall collectively form a contract between the College Administration and the Student and shall remain binding till a Student is on Rolls of the College. The College Administration shall have the right to amend, repeal and replace all or any of the College Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines. Such amended or replaced provisions shall also remain binding till the Student remains on the Rolls of the College. The College shall be entitled to initiate legal proceedings, in addition to other disciplinary or administrative actions if I fail to comply with these binding provisions.
